When planning for their engagement session, it seemed like nature was working against us. Not enough snow when we wanted it, blizzards or rain when we were able to coordinate. Then as we were getting ready to just pull the plug on a winter session, Alex and Mitch suggested the piles of ice along the lake in Fort Erie for just a quick mini session. I had never been to see the ice caves that form there so it was definitely an immediate yes.
It was truly incredible. Piles of teal coloured ice as far as you could see (though we stayed close to shore for safety!!)
And I’m thrilled that nature worked WITH us this time, because the following day was when the ice boom broke (you’ve definitely seen the videos) and all of this ice went rushing down the river.
Can not wait for our part 2 spring session and their wedding in 2020!
